Melon Apple Toddy

This drink takes some time to master but can come easy to a bartender with blazer experience, but should always be undertaken with extreme care and confidence.

A delightful winter warmer that brings back the theatre to drink making, flaming together Apple Jack Brandy or Calvados with Midori and a hint of bitters served hot with sprinkle of cinnamon and fresh apple slices, the perfect reason to stay in.

Ingredients - Melon Apple Toddy - (1 glass)

Apple Jack (Calvados)40ml(1 1/3oz)
Midori30ml(1oz)
Boiling water30ml(1oz)
Peychaud Bitters3 dashes
Alcoholic Content 22%
Any other ingredients (eg. ice cubes) are not included in the alcoholic content listed.

Mixing Instruction - Melon Apple Toddy -

  1. Blazed and served in a heat proof glass. Garnish with 2-3 slices of apple and a sprinkle of cinnamon.
Tips
Please execute with extreme caution if blazing from one tin container to the next. A safer alternative is to make this in a small saucepan over a medium heat then pour into a heat proof glass or mug.
