MIDORI June Bug

First created in a T.G.I Friday’s restaurant in Busan, Korea, this cocktail has become a hit in bars around the world.

June Bug is another name for the cotinis nitida beetle, a bug which inhabits the trees of hardwood forests.

The June Bug cocktail was probably named for its brownish golden color which resembles that of the beetle.

It also shares a soft, velvety texture with the creatures, whose bodies are covered in fine, silky hairs.

Ingredients - MIDORI June Bug - (1 glass)

MIDORI30ml(1oz)
Coconut Rum15ml(1/2oz)
Banana Liqueur15ml(1/2oz)
Pineapple Juice60ml(2oz)
Lemon Juice30ml(1oz)
Alcoholic Content 8%
Any other ingredients (eg. ice cubes) are not included in the alcoholic content listed.

Mixing Instruction - MIDORI June Bug -

  1. Shake ingredients with ice then strain into a tall glass over fresh ice.
Tips
Shaking the ingredients creates a delicious fusion of flavors, but the drink can also be enjoyed by layering the ingredients and enjoying each one in its own right.
