Passion Killer
The flair bartending craze spread the cocktail shooter fad from America across the Atlantic to Europe.
The Europeans, however, seemed to have a lot more fun experimenting with layered cocktail shooters than was had back in the States.
Of the classic cocktails we know and love, a lot were originally made by layering the ingredients, but then shifted to other methods of preparation like shaking.
With the cocktail shooter craze, though, many cocktails (such as the grasshopper) reverted back to their original method.
Of course, the Killer Passion is not what we’d call a “classic cocktail,” but the green MIDORI, red Passoã, and clear tequila create a passionate tri-colored appearance.
The high alcohol content makes this one powerful shooter.
