Squashed Frog
The cocktail shooters craze of the 1990s began in the States but spread around the globe in the blink of an eye.
This was also the time when layered cocktail shooters like the Squashed Frog made their first appearance.
Many of these cocktail shooters come with unusual names, and the Squashed Frog is no exception.
The viscosity of the MIDORI, coffee cream liqueur, and grenadine allows these three to float neatly on top of each other, before the apple juice, added last, quietly disperses through the three layers.
It’s a sweet cocktail that’s a feast for the eyes as well as the palate.
